I am a respiratory therapy student & need buy a stethoscope. What kind should I buy?

Litman? one of the best, but? expensive. Our prof. (patient assessment) told us to get abt $ 50 to Litman.
The brand names have nothing to do with it. You want something well-built and often with a pipe. In RT, you don 't even need a bell. Just don 't get one of those things with the fragile thin tube and you' ll il? end. You might even get a generic type of Sprague-Rappaport for about $ 20 and put the normal diaphragm, and a pi? small diphragm on the other hand for the kids.
