Is a double sided chest piece better than a single sided?

I just started the school of nursing profession and I have to buy my first stethoscope. I 'm. just not sure if I get one with a double-sided part of the case or a single sided? The single-sided claim to do the same thing as double-sided without having it make it run. I was just wondering if one really? better than the other?

I use a Littmann and the two sides have different uses, a? for heart and other things? for the amplification of the lung. A good stethoscope should 1. Has a steel enclosure. 2nd Have a double-tube often. 3rd Have a flexible diaphragm. 4th Have tilted the soft ear tips. 5th It should cost around $ 25. and when you graduate and start work, get a single unit head and part of recambio, just in case. Should take approximately 5 years.
