What is a good stethoscope for a nurse?

My first was a stethoscope Where Littmann Classic II. Now use (rarely …) a cardiology III. Don 'by Littmann, t go crazy and buy really expensive. $ 30-40 should do it. Because you are learning, I think you should try one that allows you to really feel the difference in the sounds of the lung and heart. Welsh Allyn is also nice … but I 'the VE has not ever used one. NOTE: Umm … I wouldn 't spend $ 300 on an electronic stethoscope. Nessun'offesa the poster below, but 1st) you are a student of a professional nurse … you don 't need it, honest. 2nd) for what you are doing, you want one that won 't be the easy route is 3rd), which interfere much crap nurses, doctors, med students, etc … sh doventi up as a student with an electronic stethoscope . I mean when the med students show on my service with the electronic stethoscopes that spend more time hello to not break the damned thing that spend using. You need to know if the patient has rales in the lung field, you need to know if the patient is the heart beating and you 'll use to control blood pressure, if you do it the old sense of order. That 's it. The living room has focused on what you are supposed to learn. Good luck … and watch out for medical students only.
